New Zealand head coach Martin Martins comments on the new rules, saying: “We need to be mindful of our safety.”
Martins says the headgear must be made out of soft material that can be easily cleaned and disinfected.
Martins’ comments came after a similar one by Australian head coach Michael Cheika on Sunday, when he told a press conference he would not wear a headgear while training.””
We’ve been very clear in our statement to the players that we are very careful in the things that we wear, so it is not something that we need to get complacent about.”
Martins’ comments came after a similar one by Australian head coach Michael Cheika on Sunday, when he told a press conference he would not wear a headgear while training.
“You can have a head-cover that’s designed for that, but you can also have a hat, so I am not going to wear that.
I will be wearing the helmet, and I’m going to be wearing a helmet.”
The rules also call for players to not wear earphones, earmuffs or a hat.
They also require all players in the dressing room to wear the same colour headgear.
Martins also said all players should be wearing headgear to the stadium, with the exception of players who have an injury, who would be covered by their own headgear, and any players who are required to be at the ground.
He says he wants players to be aware of the rules and wear the appropriate headgear if needed.
“We’ve got to be very mindful of all the safety measures.
You’re going to need to take your head out, you’re going at the ball, you need to have a helmet, you’ve got your earphones.”
Martin says the players are required by law to wear a hat at all times.
“It is mandatory to wear your hat and you’re expected to wear it when you’re in the field,” he said.
“As you’re out on the field, your hat should be put on your head, you have to wear an appropriate hat, and when you go into the changing rooms, you should be using a hat.”
Martini says the rule was introduced as part of the international game.
“This is part of a global sporting calendar, it is a way to get people out to the ground and to engage and play.
I think that is a good way to do it,” he says.
Martini was the first head coach to wear goggles while coaching Australia in the Rugby Championship.
The rules change comes at a time when Rugby league is in crisis.
Rugby league is now the third most popular sport in Australia, behind football and cricket.
The NRL is now facing a $500 million funding crisis.
